About us

A reference among the restaurants in the city of Barcelona, ​​the emblematic Restaurant 7 Portes offers a wide range of traditional cuisine. 185 years of history makes possible an adult, natural, generous and up-to-dated cuisine. It is a cuisine based on the products of the country, without  resigning the contributions of the international cuisine.

Our Cuisine

In the menu of 7 Portes you can find our famous rices and paellas, fresh and popular salads, appetizers, the traditional cannelloni, casserole cuisine and dishes “on the verge of extinction”, roasts with the traditional hash and tartars. Our menu gathers a wide recipe book, which it has evolved throughout the time. Presuming of 185 years of experience is equivalent to say that we have been capable of adapting and that we have adjusted our offer of agreement with the tastes of generations and generations of clients.

The Restaurant 7 Portes is also the story of a great team of professionals that during its 185 years of history has put the customer service and gastronomic excellence at the center of all its decisions in a professionalized way.

We are convinced that each of the people who are part of the restaurant is unique so that our guests enjoy their experience around our tables at all times. Led by Francesc Solé Parellada, owner, and Susana Sánchez, general manager, Restaurant 7 Portes is made up of more than 60 people in the kitchen, main rooms and corporate offices. At the head of the kitchen, the chef Jaime Pérez Sicilia is in charge of directing a team of chefs who prepare the dishes on the menu impeccably every day and maître Alex Ibrami will always receive you with the warmest welcome and will take responsibility for making all the best to make your experience unforgettable.

Culinary tradition

In 7 Portes you can find modern dishes and dishes that you will not find almost anywhere, which results delightful for the gourmands and the gourmets.
Big festive plates and casseroles to share, that go from the paella Parellada and the seafood casserole to plates created for the restaurant and that have turned in classic such as the cod “of the Sra. Carme”, or the monkfish “barquera”, up to current and light meals.
